Funerals are a time for remembrance and are an important part of the grieving process. They offer the chance to say goodbye and to pay tribute to someone special to you. For those who are unable to attend a funeral, whether it be due to illness, disability or being unable to travel, they miss being involved in this aspect of the grieving process. Filming the funeral service allows them to share in the day and say their own goodbyes. Even for those who do attend, it is an emotion filled day and it is hard to take it all in. Knowing that you have a record of the funeral, which you can watch should you ever want or need to, can be very reassuring.
One Camera
For funeral services of up to 200 people attending, we recommend one camera and operator. The footage will be shot and edited to broadcast quality.
Each DVD comes with a personalised cover and printed label in a DVD case.
You will receive up to 5 copies (as required) and these will be ready within 3 working days.
Additional copies are available for $10
The cost for this service is $435
Two Cameras
For funeral services with over 200 people in attendance, we recommend that two cameras and operators are present to film.
The cost for this service is $680
Slideshow
Special photos in a slideshow for everyone to share
If you have special photos of your loved one, that you would like to share, you could create a slideshow to play before and/or during the service.
Although a funeral is a time of sadness, it is also the chance to celebrate that person’s life. With special photos showing on a screen, those moments are there for everyone to enjoy and reflect upon.
Ideally the slideshow should be between 3-5 minutes long (50 to 70 photos) and can be repeated. This can be set to music of your choice.
The first step is to select the photos. Digital photos can be supplied via email or on disk. Print photos can either be delivered, or we can arrange to collect them from you. 48 hours is required to create the slideshow.
The cost to create a slideshow and to run it during the service is $435
